31 Tips for Your Disney World Trip: Day 16 – Don’t Follow the Crowds
Thanks for joining me for Day 16 of the #Write31days challenge. My tip for today is ‘don’t follow the crowds.’ Disney World is a very busy place. Even on dates with “low crowds” there are still tens of thousands of people there at any given time. There are a couple of tricks that can help you when dealing with large crowds. Many lines, including bag check, park entry turnstiles, restaurants and some rides have two or more lines. The general consensus is to go left as most people go to the right. But, there is more to it than that.
Each bag check area at the park entrances has several lines. Each line has a table with a security officer at the end. The lines form on both sides of each table, and the officer checks bags in an alternating fashion on both sides. If you see that there are people only on one side, go to the empty side. This is not only for bag check.
The same holds true for the turnstile stations at the park entrance. And, as you read on Day 6 of my Tip posts, the same is also true for quick-service dining locations.
Save time and get in faster by watching lines and using the tricks others don’t know about. The sooner you can enter the park, the sooner you can experience the magic. I don’t want you to waste one second of it.
