31 Tips for Your Disney World Trip
Welcome everyone! This is my first time joining 31 Days, an annual online writing challenge started by home blogger, Myquillyn Smith (The Nester), and now hosted by Crystal Stine, where bloggers pick one topic and write a post on that topic every day in October. I thought of writing about many different topics before settling on what I really do know a great deal about — Disney World travel.
Just so you’ll know a little about me, I am a work-at-home-mimi who was blessed a couple of years ago to retire from my full-time job to keep my precious granddaughters, now 4 and 2. The opportunity has been such a blessing. I work out of my home as an agent for Pixie Vacations, a Disney Earmarked Agency. That means that I have the pleasure of booking and planning many families’ trips to Disney destinations. I’m able save them time and stress, while receiving my commission from Disney. My job means the world to me and I feel very blessed and thankful for the opportunity.
Before I even entertained the idea of becoming a travel agent, I was just a Disney lover, student of Walt Disney’s business philosophy, blogger and frequent traveler to the happiest place on earth. I was “mousenapped” (which means my heart was kidnapped by Mickey) during my first visit at 15. I have raised my family Disney and we are now on our third generation. My greatest memories are those shared with my family at Disney World. As you might imagine, I have learned many tips through the years and I am happy to share them with you.
Every day in October, I will post a new tip. I hope you’ll join me each day and that you’ll find each one of my tips helpful when planning your trip to Disney World. I also hope you’ll leave comments, as I love meeting new people and hearing about their love of Disney. I look forward to sharing life with you for the next 31 days (and, hopefully, beyond).
Each day’s topic for the series will be posted below. I’m so looking forward to tomorrow.
