You may have seen my Facebook post a few days ago that Disneyland ticket prices increased over the weekend. They increased by a pretty dramatic margin. Walt Disney World has increased its prices for 30 years in a row, and for the past 5 years these ticket price increases have snuck in during quiet Sunday mornings early in February.
Disney is spending a huge amount of money on new lands, rides and attractions. This is not only due to the opening on Star Wars – Galaxy’s Edge this Fall, but also in preparation of the many changes Disney hopes to incorporate before the 50th Anniversary celebration in 2021.
I have been an agent for 8 years and there is no doubt in my mind that early February will follow suit for the 6th year in a row – ticket prices will go up. When the ticket prices increase, package prices increase as an immediate result.
If you have decided to book a trip to Walt Disney World, my advice is to book with your $200 refundable deposit in January. To me, there is no point in waiting.
If it turns out I’m wrong, you will have lost nothing. You will have simply paid the deposit on a trip you plan to take anyway. What do you have to lose? Know anyone traveling soon? Share this advice with them as well.
Still need even one more reason to book in January? You will automatically be entered into my GIVEAWAY. See all the details here!
Call me or email me! I will be happy to book your trip for you — in January.
